Wigan will be the first club to advertise an upcoming sporting fixture on terrestrial telly (apart from the ones that are being shown on that channel) will first be shown at 2.28pm today during Dickinson's real deal and will show everyday this week during prime time telly!! lets hope this attracts even more people to a game that will be close to a sellout anyway

i got told at work by a wigan fan that over 20 thousand tickets were already sold lol which if that was the case surly they wouldnt need adverts

It's not just about that though. It's about raising the profile of the game and maybe getting a few thousand extra watching on TV or down the pub as well as getting people through the turnstiles.

Hopefully the game will be as entertaining as the last one.

over 15000 tickets sold was printed in the local warrington paper over a week ago maybe could be close to 20k already but will still need that bit of a push to get a sell out crowd well done wigan rugby

That means we've sold approx 15,000 for the east, west and south stand. I would have thought you'd shift at least 4,000 of the 5,000+ seats in the north stand. Just hope the game lives up to the hype surrounding it.
