I hope Widnes/Leigh/whoever fans do turn up and support Catalans. It doesn't matter about Red Rose solidarity, bitterness, or whatever. Personally I've only been to two club RL games not involving Warrington in my life - the two Leeds V Bradford Grand Finals in 2004 and 2005 - but plenty of Wire supported Catalans in 2007 and I remember people on here posting about going to support Huddersfield V Saints last year. Not much Red Rose solidarity there but was it really bitterness or just a laugh? Who cares anyway?
We won't sell the game out on our own so a decent number of Catalans "fans" will boost the gate and improve the atmosphere. No problem as far as I'm concerned.
It might just be that Saints are objecting to travelling over the Pennines to Huddersfield to play Leeds. After all the price of a passport is expensive.
