12 of that squad played in the Cup Winning team last year, another would have but was injured while 2 are high profile international close season signings. There should be no danger of going into that game with a squad of under-able players.

There shouldn't be a restriction on players-per-club.
Because there shouldn't be any club fixtures on an international weekend. It's stupid and antagonises club fans when fans should be the target audience for international and club games.

Playing an International game on a regular fixture weekend is absolute nonsense. Playing against France just makes it worse! A complete waste of everybodies time.

The guys I feel sorry for are the three who have to travel all the way round the world for what is a totally pointless game. Certainly another massacre for France won't be doing the game any favours there......interesting only one from Bradford.....and four from Leeds given their proximity in the league table!

Aussies & Kiwis do it and their competition is as we often hear, far superior to ours. Solution would be to play the international on Friday night and all SL fixtures that weekend on the Sunday allowing players who wanted to or were able to to back up as they do in NRL for Anzac Test. Simples.
