| It's pleasing the Wire are riding high in the table with an excellent defensive record. This has been achieved without resorting to the wrestlacheatathon which some teams have sunk to. Hopefully the powers that be sort this situation out PDQ. It's strangling the game. We all know who the biggest culprits are and I can only echo the views of John Kear. The next time we meet them in the knock out stages of a competition perhaps this underhand Aussie method of playing the game will have been eliminated. A start could be made by telling the referees to stop shouting MOVE at the play the ball. Tacklers are looking behind them waiting for the referees instruction to MOVE. If they've time to look round at the referee then they have time to get off the tackle quickly and if they don't penalise them out of the game.

| I used to go into each season and indeed, each game very optimistic. These days, I take each game as it comes and don't celebrate a win and/or league position until the game is securely in the bag.
I'm doing the same across the whole campaign

| I'm wobbling a bit now. 36 points conceded is just like the bad old days. Mind you it may be just a blip. We were not at the races today and missed Monaghan from the start at the Carvell loss early on took it's toll.

| We are vulnerable to injuries, despite what people say about it being a big squad etc. Its easy to say we have competition for places and have good players to come in, when we have a full squad, but if there are any injuries in the front row we will struggle, we don't have the depth there. I do think however that unexpected reverses like today will happen through the season to all the teams at the top of the table, it is a fairly even league these days, the top will rise to the top over the end of the season, with us probably in the top 5, ideally the top 4.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

Agreed. It is also the nature of sport generally, irrespective of the eveness of the league. Everyone has to take a beating every now and again. I heard the classic phrases at the game today 'same old Warrington' and 'we shouldn't be losing to teams like Hull KR'. What crap. Just beacuse we've made a great start to the season we're forbidden from losing games badly or to teams below us in the league? Didn't we finish 6 places below them last year?

| Being bullish is a mindset. It is going into a game with the confidence of your group that you will overcome anything that the opposition throw at you. It is not the attitude of: "We should win every game as we are the best,if we don't the ref is bent, the sky is falling in", for that attitude see our close neighbours. The single biggest element of being bullish, for me, is not to wallow in self pity after defeat, but to simply say; do we know where we went wrong? If so let us not do it again and move on to the next task.
