1)That's about as original as every team in Super League singing "W*nky Warrington" at us.

2)YNWA is a Liverpool song not a Saints song.

3)Scousers are from Liverpool.

4)St. Helens is not in Liverpool.

For the above reasons I cringe every time we play Saints and will again be standing on the more neutral corner rather than in the middle of the away end on Friday night.

I'll be sure to remember that next time you PM me begging for a Liverpool ticket.

Being of Liverpudlian extraction I keep my mouth shut during these songs as well. Obviously some people sing them tounge-in-cheek to wind the Saints fans up, but there are a lot of Wire supporters who genuinely believe that people from St Helens are Scousers.

The singing of 'sign on' and 'we all 8 scowzers' are top of the cringeworthy stakes, right up there with the chanting of 'barmy army' ad infinitum.

Just as there are a lot of Salford supporters who genuinely believe that people from Warrington are Scousers...



I don't chant that because I don't support the England cricket team.

IF we win i think a resounding chant of "ONE MICK POTTER" is in order remembering all the kevin penny chants.
