The difference in injuries sustained between 30 and 35 miles an hour is vast, especially to children. It can very easily be the difference between killing someone, and not. Speed cameras, cops with speed guns...they are there for a reason.

Don't park illegally, don't get a ticket.

Would be manic if there were no traffic wardens/PCSOs with traffic powers, people could park anywhere, blocking up roads etc. There's parking restrictions for a reason, DO IT!!

In this situation it would only be the most idiotic warden that would have to wait and hide in bushes to catch somebody parking illegally.

It's far more likely they simply came round after the match had started and ticketed the cars.

I know the frustrations of the residents around the stadium on match days. And all streets are clearly marked as to when the residents permits are in place.

I was in a good mood til I opened this thread and did so against better judgement.

If you park legally you have no problem, what i find most annoying is the people who don't think that 'minor' fineable laws apply to them if they get caught.

Some of the attitudes and reasoning on this post are hilarious and scary at the same time. These are the sort of people who shout about people scrounging off the state and then either do jobs for cash or pay cash for them with no qualms. The double standards are breathtaking.
