He didn't even look at King, yes he is a clever player but all he was doing was supporting the player, he has every right to do that. Take your blinkers off, watch the re run of the game and try to be unbias in your assessment, he did not intentionally get in Kings way. It was an awesome game but you cannot blame the ref or VR for your loss. Most of the posts on here from wire fans are very sensible and sporting, you and rmp just sound bitter at losing out in a remarkable game. It was a great spectacle and played in the right spirit in a good ground with a great atmosphere, try and see it for what it was rather than turning on abnormally good officials. Refs get in the back more than any player, sometimes rightly so but tonight credit has to be given to all officials.

Tell me how on earth I sound bitter??? I've said it was a great game and the ref penalised and missed things on both sides. The ONLY thing I can't say I agree with is that particular try. It's nothing to do with being biased and everything to do with it not being a try. It's stupid to say that Gleeson didn't do it on purpose because he wasn't looking at King. He knew where King was and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know which direction he was going in.

Not at all, players move on. Atkins in my opinion won't be a major loss, hes a powerful centre but not a classy one. We have a player with more class who has been signed to take over his spot in Daryl Millard. Wouldn't have minded Sol back though, he'll be awesome for you when fully fit - a truly world class player
