| Maybe Ryan Atkins has not had the service to shine like he can do. The right side of attack is scoring plenty through Lee Briers, however, in the first two games, the left side has mostly only seen the ball through high kicks from Lee Briers.
Perhaps Mr Myler is at fault for the 'average' performance on the left? Sack Him!!!

| Quote Milly="Milly"Myler is a half back and as such has far more involvement than a centre so should stand out more. This is a team game and just as we don't expect our props to play like half-backs we shouldn't expect our centres to either. In fact I would be extremely worried if he was running around like Myler - it would mean that he was constantly out of position and not doing his job!'"
Do you worry about Bridge? He can often be found in a halfback/hooker role. Chris Bridge has been outstanding for us playing a role from right centre that very few could. He knows exactly when to get involved in an attack in other areas of the field and when to hold his position. An awful lot of important moments in big games have involved Chris Bridge playing a stand off role. For reference see, the semi last year, the quarter last year, this year he even scored a try from dummy half and made another break from dummy half against cas. Its exactly the role Cullen wanted Glesson to play towards the end, he never managed it as succesfully as Bridge has done imo.

| Has he passed the ball yet? his winger is in for a lean time this season. Very powerful and difficult to stop in his stride, with his size he would not be wasted in the 2nd row.

| If we talking after round 7 or 8 it might be a point worthy of discussion. Until then we need to let the lad settle in a bit. Thought he did ok on Saturday. Once the pitches start getting firmer I can see him doing well on the outside of Briers,Myler, Monas.

| In reply to: Slightly Disapointing.
Was Really impressed by his defensive effort. The whole warrington team look big and physical. Don't remember him getting the ball in attacking positions so it would be unfair to all him dissapointing

| Once settled in this lad will be superb. His defence is good. It might just be that his previous club worked the ball to the left side more than the right, whereas we move the ball to the right more than the left - Simples!!!!

| lol @ this thread, its laughable. Ryan Atkins has just arrived at a new club where he has new surroundings and new team mates, on the pitch he`s had one and a half games of which one of them was played in a down pour where it wasn`t the sort of conditions for expansive RL.
I would expect him to come into his own when we get better conditions, he will get quality ball and quality space once the weather improves, Matt Gidley when he first signed for saints was a bit ropey until he settled into his new surroundings and got used to his team mates along with the different set plays that each club has.

Nothing to discuss. You are daft as a brush. And must be watching a different game than others. Is Smith out your next topic??

| I was sorry to see him leave BV, but feel he'd gone as far as he would with us. He's got the physique to be special, but is not a antural passer of the ball and sometimes wanders a bit defensively. What he has got in his favour is a great attitude, and if he can learn from Tony Smith et al you've got a bargain - good luck to him and (to a lesser extent) to Warrington, my favourite team on't wrong side o't'ills!
