The problem Rovers have had is that they have needed to invest now they are in Super League both on and off the field.
They have done some improvements to their stadium but it still needs a lot more work, they need 3 new permanent stands really and until they do that they are losing money on maintainance, lack of hospitality etc. like we were with Wilderspool. Players would have also demanded more money to go to Rovers.
Still it's nothing compared to the Premier League clubs that in total owe £3.1bn
