The last 3 finals between Saints and Leeds have all involved fights in around the stadium and it's disgusting. The real thing that astounded me last night though was how many Leeds 'fans' I saw outside the ground before their team had even lifted the cup! These people have paid between £20 to £60 per ticket and would rather get the better of the M62 than celebrate with their team. If that's what success does to you then....

It never ceases to amaze me that some people will pay good money for tickets, take their seats late, go for a drink just before half-time, come back 5 minutes into the second half, then leave before the end to beat the traffic. They usually miss about 20 minutes of the game.

Probably miss more than twenty minutes as they also seem to be incontinent.

Me too. A bloke behind me at the recent Manchester derby, missed Rooneys first goal because he was late and then went 10 minutes before the end and missed the two last goals!!

Every team has a couple of idiots. It wasn't too long ago that bitter Wigan fans were labelling us all scum because a few Warrington fans made a nuisance at the semi final.

Lets not label all Saints fans the same because a couple of idiots can't handle their beer.

As a previous poster says, we are incredibly lucky in rugby league that the majority of our fans are Well behaved and a credit to the game.

After what I saw and was subjected to in 2007 I've not been and won't go if saints are there. They'll always be the odd incident but it was disgusting in 2007 and the RFL are lucky nothing more was reported about it. Not sure to what extent the trouble was last night in comparrison to the last 2 tears?
