We'd like to have season tickets for next year but we're having problems with how to take our daughter. We haven't been able to go this year due to her medical problems and spending a lot of time in hospital but we're hopeful things are looking up and we'll be able to go next season as she'll be stronger. She's registered disabled and needs an oxygen tank with her plus feeding supplies for her gastrostomy. She's too small for a wheelchair but we couldn't hold her all game. Do you know where the club would stand on taking her in her buggy? It would be completely neccessary and we couldn't go otherwise. I'm going to ring them tmorrow anyway, just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with the disability rules at the ground.

Well if nobody knows the answe can anyone direct me to a phone number at the club? All I can find is an email form

Just rang an 0871 number for the club, that informed me it was 10p a minute then reeled off an automated message about season tickets, Wembley DVD blah blah before even giving me any options

Not sure of the number Rugby Chick, i had trouble getting through trying to order a friend final tickets, in the end it was easier ringing the RFL.

I am sure they will be able to sort your little girl, good luck hope you get sorted please lets us know.

I'll have to have this confirmed on the morrow, but I'm sure circa 2004/5, our sprog was allowed to take her buggy in at the front of the South Stand simply due to her age. I know I should really know something like this, but I really can't remember to swear upon.

I know currently you're not allowed pushchairs/buggies, car seats, carry cots or them carriers that you strap to you and the baby sits in.

Which would be fine, she could sit on our knee, if we didn't have an oxygen tank etc etc to drag with us.

I'm really hoping the club can accomodate us but I'm not hopeful. I just don't understand how they can allow wheelchairs and not pushchairs, it's not like we need it through laziness.

I'll try the club again tomorrow and let you know how we get on, thanks guys.

The club have to provide disabled access. The fact that she is a baby and not an adult shouldn't make any difference. You may be restricted as to which stand you can access ie you may have to go in the East or North rather than the South, bu they should be able to accommodate you.

That's for the reply Milly. I was just querying it as I'd need to bring her in a buggy and the club don't allow them. Couldn't get through earlier so going to try them again tomorrow.

P.S. When Dec was a mascot we were placed at the front of the East Stand but we didnt have oxygen, so that might be a grey area that they have'nt looked at as it is explosive.
