Thought I'd had the best weekend of my life already after watching Wire lift the cup.
So went for a couple on Monday afternoon as there was a fun day at my local in Burtonwood when Lee Briers walked in with a couple of blokes.
Apparently he'd been in a couple of pubs in the village all day and was completeley swamped with people asking for his photo, but at 9:00ish at night was still completeley happy to pose and was extremely polite to a p1ssed up bloke calling him God.
Thanks Lee, as I said to him, never has anybody deserved a winners medal more. Y
ou've also just finished off a perfect weekend for me.

My cousin saw him on the sunday coming home at the services and he was having photos then, so to still to be having photos at 9:00 at night, he must of been getting a little bored with it.

I think this can be said of all the players, we saw a goodly lot of them in Stockton heath sunday night, not one of them looked peed off with the fans. All were happy to sign and pose.
