It's all very well making up songs now but they need to be catchy and easy to pick up if you want everyone to sing them. I've been going for years and years and love a good ol' sing song but sometimes it's hard to make out what is being sung. South stand moan about the North and East not joining in, but a lot of the time we can only make out the last few words..."hmmm hmmm hmmm hmmm Hicks is gonna score!"

So...catchy, easy and a tune that everyone knows!


Oh, and child friendly. Changing words to fit young ears can be very testing... "for the shops, the pubs and the wire, oh Warrington is wonderful!"
