| Quote: p1e e8ter "He is a winger, he played there for Melbourne in the NRL and represented Austrailia there a number of times. How you can say he is not a winger is quite puzzling. He's just a big winger, who can play centre.
Look at Richards for Wigan, he started out as a centre then was put back in his natural position on the wing and has been our top try scorer for the past 3 seasons (soon 4).
King scored 3 tries in the CCS, 2 where off high balls that you would usually find a winger attempting to catch.'"
No, he didn't.

1883.jpg Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Sorry kidda, but he did. A whopping 16 times out of 91 games for Melbourne, all in his first season. The fact he played his next 67 consecutive games at centre is totally irrelevant.

32195.jpg R.I.P Captain Marvel (Mike Gregory 1964 - 2007)
Sportsman, Gentleman, Hero
LEGEND
We’ve waited too long for this day to come
Thirty thousand Wires standing as one
All travelling down, a sight to be seen
Man, woman and child sharing one dream
Tension in the crown as kick off draws near
Mixed emotions: excitement and fear
Restlessness as we huddle like cattle
Then Morley appears ready for battle
The rest of the team follow to fight to the death
The hooter sounds and we all hold our breath
Again the fans will have their own role
To sing and show passion deep from the soul
There may be times the players feel beat
Feeling too weak to achieve this huge feat
With their hopes and dreams they’ll look to the skies
To see a Primrose and Blue haze in front of their eyes
Then comes the roar; we never stop believing
This is one relationship we won’t be leaving
Cut us we bleed like everyone, that’s true
The difference being we bleed Primrose and Blue!:32195.jpg |

| Carney - purely down to fitness. If he's assessed fit enough to get through a season then yes, he's a good hard competitor with a good attitude who will motivate other players, he's also always had a good try scoring record. Carney's the type of character we need in the camp.

| I can see Penny and Pickers going back to Widnes next year. I'd love Carney to stay!
