I heard Kukri and ISC were close to sealing a kit deal before Canterbury took over so i'd be suprised if it wasnt 1 of them 2

I had a fantastic Hummel tracksuit around 1990 - quality bit of gear. So 20 years ago they were OK, can't comment on what their stuffs like now. Which probably makes this a bit of a pointless comment really....

I have heard from a reliable source (who I cannot name of course) that there are 1 or 2 companies interesting in buying Canterbury out of administration, and possibly taking over their stock and assets.

Would they take over the Warrington contract or has it been terminated by Canterbury going into receivership?

All contracts with Canterbury Europe were cancelled with imediate effect when the company went into administration.
I read a comment from someone at Warrington the other day saying that Wires + Canterbury had paid up/delivered on this seasons contract so Wires come out reletavely unscathed. Preston North End FC have been really hit by it as canterbury were supposed to be supplying their new kits which were due to be launched a couple of days after canterbury went into admin.

Also JD sports, JJB sports + Kugga are all at least partially owned by Mr Whealan.

Canterbury had an initial 3 year contract with Warrington. Not heard anything this year however.

Im not kidding when I say that the owner of a sports company is in the room next to me, and it sounds like he could be taking over the assets. I've definitely heard Portsmouth & Gloucester mentioned, as well as Rugby League.

Until anything's made public however, i'm not at liberty to mention names.
