| Quote: rubber duckie "It's a done deal...all the noise from Salford and Offiah is just 'good man, bad man'
Salford need to show there fans that they are doing there best to keep Myler, but it's all just a formality. A deal was agreed months ago, Thats why Monas was told he can look for another club.
And Briers?..Why has'nt our club already have an extension sorted out?...His contract would have been sorted last season if he were staying, wouldn't it??
He's going to Barrow as player and assistant coaching staff on a 3 year deal. £100,000 for signing and £60,000 a year salary.
That's was also a done deal sorted over two months ago....Why do you think you have not heard any concern from Briers about a contract running out and an urgency to resign in the same way you heard Longy making noises???
Get real people, the logic is there if you just see the wood for the trees.'" are u pi--ed 160 k i dont think so everybody would be off 2 cumbria today if thats the deals being offered

Really??.... In what way??
Does he have the ball playing skills and the ability to bring others into the game like a Andy Gregory, or the off-the-cuff skills of a John Woods or Garry Schofield??.... Does he have a kicking game of any note like Kevin Sinfield??
I'd say the answer to those questions is a definite no, which in my view gives him no qualification to be considered as a good half back - Admittedly, he might have some abilities (none of which he is displaying at present), but I just don't see what he has that makes anybody think he can be a half back for any side aspiring to be challenging for trophies.
At the moment, I wouldn't be against sending him somewhere on loan for a month, similar to what they have done with Chris Riley - We sent Gareth O'Brien on loan to Saints last year in order for him to gain first team experience and to develop his game... I suggest Myler requires similar help for his career development because, at the moment, its badly stalled.

| Surely in a position with no real playmaker ,the coaching staff should encourage the lads to play basic rugby as a team & see where that gets us. Wigan are lacking in a decent playmaker but Wane has instilled a team ethic into his side & it seems that when young players are drafted into his side they just blend in. Maybe that is a lesson in coaching that would be of benefit at Warrington.

| The excuses have run out for Myler, and his undoubted potential has to start showing in consistent, dominant performances THIS YEAR or he should be ushered out of the exit door at the first opportunity, in my opinion.
He has played alongside the best half back of his generation for 5 years
He has played behind one of the toughest most effective and aggressive packs of recent times
He has been coached by one of the best coaches in SL for several years
He has been allowed to develop his game at his own pace and in his own time
Twelve months ago he was the incumbent England half-back. Now, he's a million miles away from it and behind Sinfield, Widdop, Matty Smith, Chase & Lomax on form. His missus has more chance of an England cap than he has.
As for the campaign to move him to hooker, that is a downright insult to Brad Dwyer.

| After all the development myler has had over the last 5 years, he should be stepping up to the mark & organising the attacking play. He knows he won't be dropped from the team & so do the other players. unfortunately he hasn't got a rugby brain...Briers did all the thinking for them both, but come Sunday he'll be in the team against Hudd & o'brian will be 18th man or at Swinton.
Now if there was a stat for hi 5s myler would be at the top!
