Salford need to show there fans that they are doing there best to keep Myler, but it's all just a formality. A deal was agreed months ago, Thats why Monas was told he can look for another club.

He's going to Barrow as player and assistant coaching staff on a 3 year deal. £100,000 for signing and £60,000 a year salary.
That's was also a done deal sorted over two months ago....Why do you think you have not heard any concern from Briers about a contract running out and an urgency to resign in the same way you heard Longy making noises???

Surely Barrow would be better spending that type of money on a young upcoming English player rather than an ageing 30 odd year old whos best years are behind him and would only be going for the money (apologies if he's going to Barrow as a stepping stone to enhance his international aspirations).
Why oh why do clubs waste so much money which could be used to develop their own youngsters?

I'm implying that he's pretty much Warrington's player regardless of what Salford are offering. Offiah will benefit more should he sign with Warrington due to the golden handshake he'll receive. Martin will have promised his client to Warrington, and will do all in his power to make sure he doesn't re-sign with Salford.
We should all know by now... it's all about Martin. |

I think Offiah is not acting like any other agent. I think it is he who has esculated all the hype and leaked gossip to the press. Trying to make out all the so called big clubs are after this client, pushing the price up all the time, making his cut bigger. |
