Its not been posted for your opinion on monas, I think people were commenting on the big hits he recieved. I too hope he is okay, they were huge hits. I couldnt believe he stayed on after the first one, but he looked like death after the second one.

This could have been a game plan , as everyone thought we would be beaten without Briers. Thought he played well yesterday Monaghan. Hope he is ok for next week V ULL

though monas had a good game before getting knocked out. thought him and mathers did well in leading the team round all evening

I don't really rate Monas as a half but hes a tough cookie Ill give him that.
I want to know where the Michael Monaghan who was on from in the halves for Manley is?

We've all seen him but he doesnt appear often enough.

IMO Lowes got it right when we played Bradford. he played him as in impact hooker coming off the bench.

I think thats where TS should play him, not at half back.

It backfired when Briers got injured though


He might improve again for a couple of weeks now he has had another crack on his head!!

I agree one thing you can't fault Monas for is his no nonsense get on with it approach. He often waves the physio away - tough lad.

Grix did step up once he was off tho- perhaps at last we have found the right spot for him? He has the pace and it seemed the where with all.

Can't deny his commitment. Whether you feel he is the right number 7 for Wire or not, this guy will never take a backward step. His defensive technique is second to none. If only he was a bit smarter with his attacking options in the halves, I'd love to see him remain at the club. Funnily enough, I think he's a good player with Briers in the side, it just doesnt work when he has too much responsibility. I'm a big fan of Bridgey, but I'll admit he isn't the stand off I thought he could be. Brilliant at centre, but not in the halves.
