| Very true! also when kids get older there less likely to get bullied in school as there more disciplined, fitter and stronger than other kids and hang around with rugby friends at school.
my bro played for crozzies and the warrington school boys with pickersgill and was a very good prospect untill he descoverd women and ale. then he jacked it in
my lad plays for rylands sharks u10s and hes looking realy promiseing cant wait for the school boy trials. i think that starts at u11s.
id defo encourage parents to take there kids to play rugby league.

| My elder son played on the service area team with Blyth, Mitchell and Cooper (and Emmett from Saints) , was on a county side with most of the young guys currently at SL and championship clubs and was at national camps from which about 60% are now professionals. Everyone he played with as a junior has turned out to be a decent adult.
However the main thing is that he had a good time, made some good mates and they all diverted their energies into sport rather than trouble making.
He went to university , took his boots, found the rugby league team and after the first training sessions he was then part of an instant group of mates, who play for fun.
My younger son is playing now at age 11...and says rugby is his favourite thing.
All the clubs and teams in Warrington are very welcoming to new faces. So...to any kids and parents. If in doubt, give it a go!

29879.jpg it's impossible to make a point without making an enemy. Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they are injured, Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not!! before you call a players mistake try and play the game yourself !!!!:29879.jpg |
