| Quote Phil Anderer="Phil Anderer"too old and the description of him as a 'utility back' says everything.
jack of all trades master of none
'"
With Fein I would say don't judge a book by its cover, he cant genuinely play both positions well.
Unlike Monaghan and Sullivan who made their names as hookers and were signed by Cullen to play half back, I think this guy would be more than capable of directing Wire around the park.
Saying that I would prefer it if we signed Richard Myler as a long term prospect.

Monas didn't make his name as a hooker.

| I would sign Myler and another more experienced half back.
I kinda wish monaghan would step up to the mark and do a job for the next couple of years until Myler was 100% ready.

His decision making doesn't seem up to it. Unbelievably given his last couple of years in the NRL.

He was playing hooker at manly so the pressure wasn't on him as much. Think it was Orford who was leading the team around the park.
Maybe Monaghan cant operate under real pressure

| I was speaking to Hairy Barry (who has good contacts) last night and he said this might be a goer - 2 year deal apparently. Monaghan is deffo going back to Sydney.
I like Fien but I would rather push the boat out for Myler.

He was exceptional for them at halfack over a period of a couple of months when Orford wasn't around.
I just think it's the structured style of play in the NRL that suits him, and other NRL halves that come here, as oppose to our 'off the cuff' attack orientated game. Lee Briers shines because he has an insanely quick RL brain, his speed of thought is uncanny, possibly too quick for his own good at times.
