I don't think birthday threads are owt to get carried away over, they usually drop off pretty quickly unless getting took over like this un.
And although this'll get confused as a ing contest over number of posts, it seems a bit daft that the OP and the receiver of said thread have less that 50 posts(couple of lurkers) between them, it seems a bit redundant.
As for the other thread, i locked it, and did so as it was a bit annoying that he's asked for suggestions and then rejected them straight away so it seemed a bit pointless,however in the spririt of fairness i'll unlock it and see what else occurs.
