Sorry that isn't how I meant it to sound. I don't mean that I believe it's a conspiracy theory... and of course we should be prepared for it. It just interests me how every newspaper you read contains a quote something like this...
Surely all the public need to know is that it can be cured if needs be? Something similar happened in America when Tom Brokaw announced to the american people that they should be protecting themselves with ciprofloxacin against the anthrax threat... the final result being something like 1 in 40 american citizens taking the stuff and rendering it useless in the treatment of MRSA.
