Why does everybody assume that its a conspiracy theory?

Was the Bubonic Plague a global conspiracy instigated by some pharmaceutical companies?

We aren't top of the food chain, bacteria and viruses are above us, we think we're one step ahead of them with science but they can mutate and shift to survive and thrive.

This swine flu thing may or may not end up in a pandemic, but its perfectly logical and likely that there will be a pandemic of something at some point, which is what the scientists have been predicting for years.

Just hope its a pandemic flu that comes, and not smallpox, because thats what would really devastate.
