Not having a go at Matt King, i never have a go at any wire player, just cant be doing with people who pick on certain players when its obvious our defence as a team has been crap not just one person!!!!!!!

No not saying that at all, just saying our defense seems to be weaker with him playing IMO.

King has always been able to tackle, the problem with him at centre is his decision making. On the wing with a decent defender inside of him (Grix) he just has to do his job. He is doing that well.

It would be interesting to see Penny outside of Grix, however I think King is earning his spot at the moment.

Your arrogant attitude when discussing this just makes you look an idiot though, as you claim you are dealing in facts, yet completely ignore the fact that King at centre was a liability, whereas Grix isn't, and that is possibly the biggest difference.

Good point well made, King played on the Wing for Melbourne and was very successful in playing in that position so is it not the fault of the coach for playing King out of position in the first place
Although King was playing out of position i don't believe he was a liability and it certainly isn't a fact.
I would also like to reiterate that saying Penny is a weak defender is my opinion and if you watch the academy games, he isn't that strong in defence there either.

Comparing one game with penny in the team against the runners up in the grand final to the rest where we ended up having the biggest minus points difference, including again, the Harlequins RL hammering.

Good player who has been poorly coached but no anymore. He'll come good for us watch.

I think it is fair to say the NRL is more defence orientated than SL, so if he is going to be exposed as a poor carrier of the ball it would be there. I don't recall him having an issue with his ball retention there.
