I don't understand how anyone who wants to get ahead in the coaching game, having played at the top level of Rugby League, wouldn't be thick skinned enough to take abuse with a pinch of salt.
And it was mainly a mickey-take from the Wakey fans. How would Noble fair if he chose to sit at the front of your standing terrace along the touchline, and this was only a fairly small group of Wakey fans? Most people thought it was funny though, because they could tell that he was losing the plot, and I'm not sure anyone was actually offended. One of the blokes he invited for a fight had a grin wider than Jimmy's fist.
