I agree but not with the 'get rid of lowes' it seems like the board buy the players and call the shots, the coach has to deal with the team he has. This does not bode well when there are definite 'slackers' who should go to free space for the ever growing strength in youth. We have three years to develop these kids and stop relying on under performers holding the club to ransom.

Good point G - perhaps we should start recruiting players to do a job rather than bringing in the big names to satisfy the ego of the owner and indeed the fans.

Compare our star studded first choice team and compare to the journeymen pros that turn out for Catalan and Wakefield and Huddersfield and Hull KR and continually out-enthuse us.

Agreed, this must be the case. My fear is these type of coaches are few and far between. And who of those who do fit the criteria are currently un-employed?!!! It's going to be a long season.....

If I were coach, sacking Lowes would be ing pointless and a stupid isea, as I was already coach (presumably Lowes had gone).

Anyway.

I'd move Briers & Monas back to their normal sides so at least we'd score a few more. I'd change the defensive structure to the Aussie one that their national side use & the same one that Manley ed Leeds with.

I'd play with an interchange hooker. Higham as good & effective as he is, is a walking penalty factory when he's knackered. Lastly I'd ban all other players talking to the press other than Captain or vice Captain. And then only when they're fully aware of club guidelines on what can be said.
