| I must admit, my own personal dislike of Briers stems from the fact the guy is so far up his own backside with his own importance, and yet he is actually a very average player.
Oh, so he has won many a game for the Wire, his followers will claim....Yes, well his pi$$poor defence has cost us just as many...
Once more last night, I spent most of the time in complete shock that a fellow who quite simply has no clue how to tackle, can somehow make it in the world of Rugby League...

To be fair, when his stats came up last night, after about 60 mins, he had made 11 tackles, don't know what his finally tally was.
Briers is like marmite, rarely has a player divided opinion amongst their own fans. I think a lot of this comes from alleged past incidents, some of which will no doubt be true and others BS.
I can never accept that he doesn't care about the club and hasn't given his all throughout his time - something which deserves respect even if everything he's done hasn't come off.

Yes he was, but i'm not doubting his skills to be an assistant, it's his head coach qualities that i'm concerned about, not every great assistant makes a top quality head coach ala Brian Kidd in football.
I do have concerns about Lowes's maturity and ability now though after seeing recent interviews and how he has allegedly reacted with Wakey fans yesterday and Salford fans in the past. I do not want this man anywhere near our club if the rumours are true

Second hand info from someone who was sat drinking with them, but I heard that Hanley was unimpressed with Briers behaviour. Mind you, he was probably the only sober Englishman in the centre de ville at that point in time so can't imagine El got a great deal of sense out of anyone...'"
I cannot figure out why people want Hanley so much as our next head coach, when was the last time he coached at the highest level? This concerns me.
Director Of Rugby with an inexperienced head coach maybe a possibility if we go down the Hanley route.

| Jimmy needs to stick by his guns and drop the under performers.
team 1. Hicks 2. Riley 3. Gleeson 4. Grix 5. Penny 6. Bridge 7. Monas 8. Moz 9. Higham 10. Rau 11. Harrison 12. Mitchell 13. Clarke 14. Wood 15. Blythe 16. Picks 17. Landerson
Would the board stay away from team selection and let him kick start the team with youthful enthusiasm. The crowd would get behind him if dealt with what most of us can clearly see happening, too many 'coasting' on big contracts. One thing bradford had in the lowes era was a level contract system, no stars-one team....c'mon jimmy take charge.
