I think Noble is living in cloud cuckoo land personally and should be concentrating on promoting the youth of Wigan through the ranks instead of putting big money into the hands of a few pockets.
some valid points, its about time the trend of league players going to union was reversed. there are a lot of good players in union who would be a success at league, and if we could get a few of them to come over, it would enhance the game. it would be good if a few of the welsh side could come over and bolster the crusaders too. i would like to see the rfl try to do something though, and encourage clubs to look at this option....
Wigan head coach Brian Noble believes Super League clubs should be buying up rugby union's big stars.

They're not trying to sign RU players though, Fittler is just saying they should let league players do an off season stint in Japanese RU to make extra cash.
Presumably this will have England smashing them in international games every year, and the Aussie players complaining that they play too much rugby.....?

If the NRL will raise the salary cap so clubs can pay players what they're worth we wouldn't be having this problem.
