I like him, he's a talent for sure. That said, I thought he struggled at the back end of the season. I thought he struggled to back up week to week. He'll get his chances this year, lets hope we're in a better position injury wise taht we can put him in & pull him out when we like.
McCarthy, Mitchell, Blythe, Cooper, Harrison & Pickersgill. We now have a fantastic 'development' reverse pack. |

I feel Blythe has more to his game now, I'm not sure who's the quicker as I've never really seen Blythe stretch his legs, but he did used to play centre/wing at times IIRC. I think Blythe has more ability so to speak, I think he's better when he gets on the ball. Looking at it now, Mitchell could be more like a Westwood, a typical tackling second row, who's deceivingly good going forward, but I feel Blythe will be more like Gilmour, a player with a bit more to his game.
It's close, and I guess it goes on preference, but I prefer Matty. |

I think that's as close as you can be to being spot on.
What a good position to be in, having fans debating which home grown talent should be playing in the first team. |
