Wire credentials: Wore wire shirt Down under (been twice), when i met and spoke to Alfie Langer, had some munch in his restaurant as well, saw all his old shirts, had a photo with him, great day!

Oh go on then, since the last poster did (The Mighty Wires)

1. First away game against Catalans when they joined SL, I was interviewed for the match DVD outside the pubs near the canal.

2. Me and my mates were interviewed on ABC Television in Time Square, New York City on Millenium Eve!

If we're talking claims to fame;

Attended GB v Australia at McAlpine Stadium with tickets allocated to Mr & Mrs John Kear. At game sat in front of Alfie & Mal Meninga - big Mal looked decidedly unimpressed that fans gathered round Langer for autographs but few recognised the big man.

Attended Man of Steel dinner a few years back when a SL coach was unable to go I got his seat. Was heard to say after several free pints "If Stevie G gets ref of the year we might as well all go home now." Ref of year that year was Steve Ganson...
