| Fantastic win against a very tough competitive Leigh team. We need a better option at back up hooker, Powell just doesn’t offer much for me now. We lacked energy from the ptb that Walker offers. Crowther can go at the end of season, he is one of them players who seem do much but offer little to the team. Yates I thought was usual tackling machine but again he offers not much else. Since loosing Williams I’d say wires style of play is better without Williams we look more loose in terms of attacking structure. And that is creating uncertainty in the opposition defence. Overall it was a very good result and let’s get the league form sorted and enjoy the day at Wembley

All I want from Yates and what we invariably get is to be tackling machine, having that kind of player in your team is invaluable and allows your ball handlers to get on with it. Plenty have lauded Currie and rightly so but his he one such beneficiary?

For those who watched both semi-finals on TV I'm sure that, like me, you were less than impressed by the way that the producer kept cutting away to shots of the coaches whilst the game was in play. Could I encourage people to submit a complaint to the BBC here. If enough people do it then, just maybe, they'll find a producer from somewhere who's actually been to a game before.

I'd have my doubts that we will.It really is pretty impossible to produce performances like that on a consistent basis particularly if you pick up injuries. We are pretty resilient so you never know.

If Currie is a beneficiary, he's doing it wrong: he is our top tackler. 1 It was a question based on observation and the comments of others, it wasn't a trawl through stats to prove a point one way or the other 2 I used Currie's good form as a potential benefit of having Yates in the team not as a slight on him shirking any tackling duties if this is what you are incorrectly implying. 3 Long may Currie continue "doing it wrong"

| Bit touchy. I agreed with your underlying point that Yates is a tackling machine and you need those in the team to free up the fancy Dans. I was just surprised you named Currie as he is also a tackling machine.
