I'm all for a bit of biff, Infact I like many others enjoy watching a fight, it adds to the excitement, As others have said though punching a player who is tackled with 3 people on top of him square in the face isn't biff.
I've watched it back and the Hansen tackle whilst arguably a bit uncontrolled had no intent in it at all for me, The contact was blatantly with Ratchfords hip, It looks like Ratchfords foot got caught in an awkward position and H had no where to go and landed on him akwardly, It certainly wasn't something like I've seen Jeoff Lima do a couple of times, Absolutely no intent there. McIlorum got a high shot in but when you've got Westwood getting away with what was practically assault and then add Mike Coopers clenched first to Richards face into the mix I don't think there's much to cry about from a wire point of view.
I'm still in shock tbh. After that spell in the first half I thought it was over, we had no chance .... but I haven't seen us dominate wire like we did in that second half for a long time.

Maybe Wigan didn't deserve it but the players earned it.
Huddersfield, LLS, Beaten on the way to the GF
Leeds, Beaten on the way to the GF
Warrington, beaten in the final. Choose a harder route?
As for a bit of biff is ok,it's not tiddlywinks but cheap shots aren't on,
It's rough enough look at what happened to Joel, fair open play when player got his head in the wrong place.
As for Ratchford, let the authorities decide on that
Hope they both make quick full recoveries.
