| Wouldn't surprise me to see him make an appearance on NRL360 tonight.

| Based on this season alone how many would actually be bothered if he goes. I mean it’s not been a big secret that he wants to coach in the NRL but this season he is not selling himself. Poor results and the way he conducts himself in interviews etc.
Someone said that he said this season was going to be a transition season, if that’s the case we better be much better next season or the only job on offer would be Widnes.

| I think he will inevitably end up in the NRL at some point regardless of whether its a head coach position, if it doesn't work over here I think he will return down under anyway and take an assistant role somewhere. Either way, he knows this is his best shot at getting a head coach job over there, so he will put everything in to it.
I'm not writing him off yet, he's still early in to his new career and he'll learn to deal with certain aspects better I'm sure (though it is often boring to hear coaches drone on with the same responses when losing time after time, at least Burgess doesn't revert to type in that regard.) We haven't started great, and some of the recruitment seems to have been a bit panicked, but we're better than we were under Powell and I think Price too given the younger players that have been given opportunities over the past 18 months.
I still think we will finish the season strongly once we have Williams and Sneyd back.

He massively over achieved last season and we should have made the Grand Final, but still ended with the best attack and best defence in the League. This season has been a big disappointment though with some very poor recruitment. His stats. as 1st team coach are surprisingly good even now:- https://www.loverugbyleague.com/post/ranking-every-super-league-coach-by-career-win-percentage

Pretty much sums up where I'm at with Sam and the way we are going this season, there is time for Sam and the boys to turn things around. We are not out of contention yet and if we still are when Williams and Sneyd return, then who knows, on our day.....
