All joking aside, I am afraid he has to take some responsibility for this loss and it emphasises just how much work is done by Ben Westwood both on and off the ball and obviously in defence.

I'm fine with todays loss, though it's a big missed opportunity as we could have out a little daylight between us & the rest and almost afforded ourselves a loss at Huddersfield, instead that now takes on 'must win' tag as a game as you don't want to start losing runs but I was disappointed today.

The fact we put 12 pts on the floor and let Catalans just pick them up and run for the posts disappoints me the most, their 'winning' try was so Cullenesque with Briers just not having a clue on the 5th and putting up a hopeful, clueless kick. Why he can't just dink that into touch 20m out and why that option seems to have gone from our approach baffles me.

I thought today was pretty much how we played against Hull KR, we just didn't get out of jail today.

I don't have too many plaudits for them, though I thought Henderson had a good game and one lad with socks around his ankles but their insistance on pushing laws to the limits I don't enjoy, but it got them a result that their efforts deserved in fairness.

I said this. The last try was very like a Cullen-esque performance, and I agree with you, JWP, 20-16 up with 7 minutes remaining, the last tackle on the half way line, surely you should try to find touch? Instead of towering the ball up into the air, it would of ate up some more seconds, given us a breather (which we looked like needing), and given us the chance to keep our opponents down that end of the field. I was quite suprised atually, I'd normally of exected Briers (the cool head that he is) just to boot it into touch.

Although, the defeat can't be blamed ultimatley on that kick and that 'last try'. We were poor and didn't deserve to win. Cats had a game plan and stuck to it. With the inclusion of Super Benny Westwood who knows, but as Mark pointed out before, I don't think that was an area we were crying out for, I felt we needed more creativity and execution, re; Monas running around, casuing a nuisance, throwing a final killer ball to a Warrington player etc.

The worst bit about today was the nature of a few of their tries..... they just walked through unopposed.
