100% Child's is to blame here , why on earth did he walk into Carney like he did ? The player was stood still and the ref made contact with him . Absolute joke .

Pleaded not guilty to Grade C contact with a Match Official, found guilty. Two-match ban, £300 fine.

The rfl disciplinary not up to standard as usual,Carney raises his arm to stop Childs walking right into him as anyone would if someone is approaching to close like that. A very very harsh ban imo as a neutral in this situation.

Tough call. I don't think there was any real intent or malice. As RL fans all we ask is consistency. Somehow I think there are teams that will get away with this sort of thing. Same old, same old.
