However... If the Chairman said it was... I'm pretty sure half the people on here would believe him.

(Note... This is not saying that this isn't the truth, it's just that so many hang on his every word... He did say we would be in an iconic stadium with funds to make us the biggest club in SL... and most people believed that too)

All that aside... I hope what he says is correct... I hope we can move forward, but until I see some evidence of some signings to replace what is leaving / left us... then I will always believe that we have finance issues. (Yes I know most other clubs have issues but I want to see something happening)

Yet in their brief history they have challenged at Wembley, got into play-offs, expanded their ground. For those saying things can be done, I suggest they follow the lead of the mentioned club. Awaits people to try and counter with the Crusaders debacle.... I seem to remember they play Leeds at Racecourse ground is snow, wonder what attendence they achieved

To compare us to them is ridiculous! They have a whole country to tap in to for support not to mention a fair bit of Spain. They have no competition for fans. They has the weather to attract players and were exempt from relegation for 3 yrs, (didn't they finish bottom 1st season?) if they were exempt they may have gone down the PSG route, they also had the advantage of being able to sign as many aussie's as they wanted! They had a huge advantage over almost every club. Yes they have built well but given the above I'm sure we could have done the same. Comparing us is like chalk & cheese! Wrong.

Seriously? The topic of conversation is now 'should we have sold Littler'? Without a doubt yes.

As a club, we've progressed this season in terms of the rugby we play. For me, it's been the most attractive attacking we've played since I started watching in 1990. With 6 games to go, we could well finish on more points.

As someone else mentioned, I do honestly think there is more people on here who would be happier if we did go bump, so they could say 'I told you there was financial problems'.

Its likley that Salford will be in a better position next season when they "merge" with Sale. Never though they would face administration but I bet they have a few financial difficulties to sort out.

They must be some issues he as said that we need new investment if this is the case we need investment then you have to ask the question why do we need investment and can't keep players what jw said does not make a lot of sense to me we have not made any effort to keep anyone. Also Phil veivers said in advertiser we need bargin buys I then question jws account of we are nowhere near administration so sorry as much as I want to believe it until the club start building a team and not dismantle it every year

This investment thing isn't new, he's been asking for investment for years now!

As 'Ave It!' has rightly pointed out our Chairman has been looking for somebody with new money for some time, I believe he has turned a few people away in the past as he wants the right person to take over the realm and not some wide boy with cash. However, I wonder if he would be as precious now if another offer was to appear on the table.
