i can understand all the comments about the blue seats. Look everyone knows sale will co habbit, its inevitable but so what? I think most peoples gripe is that our identity will somehow be lost but i totally disagree. Come match day the stadium will feel like home alright its just that at the moment were all in limbo watching and thinking this home that has been built for us is no longer our own. Lets not worry we are Salford we have a new stadium and a new chapter - lets be optimistic we have a great chance and a new chapter........blue seats? cmon!

I dislike Union to watch but no one can deny marketing wise and money wise they have got it right.
Sale coming on board means we can tap in to their resources (we need some props dont we) and possibly some of their fans might want to come and watch Salford as well.
They got over 10K on FA cup semi final day when a game was played at the Reebok, we can only dream of that.
They have gone from 2k to 8k fans in a very short space of time so Salford should be asking how it was done and using that experience.
Time for people to look to the future and stop living in the past.

Draw a 30 mile radius around Sale and tell me how many RU clubs they compete with and how many they can draw support from?

Sale represent RU in the North West and Staffs, and bearing that in mind their crowds are pants with Kennedy pumping millions a year in to keep them afloat.

Draw a 30 mile radius around Salford and my guess is that the combined RL averages will be circa 60,000 in Lancs alone.

Good luck with your move, I believe your opportunity is to drop the Salford and focus on City Reds as your brand in order to attract the new fans you will need from Manchester and Trafford areas

I think a lot of people gripe with Sale issue is that over the past 10 years Salford Reds have been fighting for a new stadium, (an iconic one at that) and little by little it has been watered down to a box that isn't the clubs and then the yawnion boys without any input in the process can just waltz in and claim it as theirs.

I'm not saying that this is true, just that i think this is an issue. Riding on the back of the Reds hard work.

Yes the Chairman and friends have put money in that cannot be denied.But I wonder do they sit at home and think,
could things have been done better. For a start all the staff including Mr Tarry seem to have been there for years,
that would not have been the case at any other club,that have had are results,I am not having ago at anybody.
But surely someone with different ideas mite have been worth a try, It seems to me, that if any of us had come up
with a brilliant idea to help the club,It would of been no good because someone at the club had not thought of it first.
Also was Matt Parish miss informed or not.The Chairman comes back from Australia,telling us he has got the right man.
After a month the coach tells us he was miss informed,so what is the right version,Its been innuendo then more innuendo
ever since,this is not doing the club any good at all.The club is bigger than John Wilkinson and Matt Parish.
