| Quote: Who are ya!! "Yea your right salford where offside a lot, holding down constantly, trying to take people heads off.
Tbh warrington where dire tonight, they seemed to like tackling, kept dropping the ball, mixture of salford not being able to score and warrington defence being awesome won it for Wire'"
full agree
to many drop balls , to many penalties , wire had alot of defending on there own line especially in the second half , salford didnt take there chances

| Warrington always had that game in the bag... we can bang on about the referee... but I really don't think there is any excuse for a number of back to back penalties to ease of the pressure... and to be fair he got a lot right and we should hold our hands up and admit we were actually guilty on a number of occasions.
The effort from Salford was superb, but we would never expect to win a game like that as the difference in the sides (financially) is huge. Fact is... we held our own for huge periods mainly because of a huge defensive effort. Our go forward was always way behind Warrington. We were averaging I'd say 5 metres on each tackle where Warrington were regularly knocking up 10-12 metres from the forwards... that is impossible to turn around and we were often forced to kick from our own 40 after 5 tackles.
We lacked ideas in attack on the opposition line... but Warrington covered well in pressure situations... so it's time to just admit we got beaten by the better side... and there is nothing wrong with that.
Despite the fact that I never felt like we were going to win the game... I came away satisfied as that effort was superb.

| Better team won but final scoreline was disappointing. Their defence was really strong and a combination of that and us blowing our chances meant that the old cliche applies - they took their chances, we didn't
We defended well but missing Holdsworth, Ratchford and Fitzy left our attack very flat and unimaginative.
Funny game overall, certainly not the thriller I heard them describe it as on GMR on the way home. We could and probably should have won after that spell in the second half, but if Warrington had clicked they could have pasted us

| You can't ignore the fact that when your lads were resting, we were beating Bradford away.
It's the sign of a good side when we play badly and still win. Thanks for the good luck wishes.

| Glad to get away from there with a win, we defended really well second half although we shouldnt have had to do so much work if we could learn to keep hold of the ball but credit to salford they really had a go and will come out of the game feeling better than us, i doubt you targeted this game as a possible 2 points to get you closer to the playoffs so it was about the performance.

| I always come home happy if I see 100% effort, and I thought the Team really put up a good performance.
Considering the players out injured I thought we did well to remain competitive. I thought Warrington took a few chances as they always had the upper hand. Unfortunately for them, it led to a lot of mistakes.
Well done the Reds, I'm sure we can win a few more games before the end of the season

| Quote: Prestwich Red "The score certainly flattered Warrington.
With all the money and players they have I would have expected a much better performance from them.
Dont give me this we played a game a weekend and you have had a week off cr@p,there are players at Wire who are probably on double of what ourplayers are on and for most of the game we matched them.
First half was a penalty free for all mostly in Warringtons favour and you can not hope to win a game when you have that against you.
Second half Salford were much the better team, we just missed that essential spark in the last ten which would have given us points.
Remember we had 4 players missing 2 of whom are our playmakers, with the small squad we have that is a killer. Not all teams are able to have a Solomona on the bench.
So overall I was very happy with Salfords performance.
Good Luck Wire though it pains me to say it, you will certainly need it.'"
Very good, balanced, unbiased opinion.

| Warrington are not playing well at the minute, certainly not playing to their full potential but they are still winning, which is a sign of a quailty side. And us playing a tough cup tie at bradford just 5 days before last nights game while your squad had a week off would have affected our fitness last night, anyone who tries to suggest differently are kidding themselves.

| Why dont you warrington kn*bheads go and post your puerile (that means childish by the way) comments on your own board.
This is for sensible discussion on rugby league - all the coments on here have acknowledged that you were the better team last night, but you pair don't seem interested in the game -

| Decent game, shed got behind the team in the first half, good turn out, we didn't look to good in attack though, I think we have 4 sets of 6 on their line in a row and still didn't score. I must say though, they like their forward passes

We actually had 5 players missing.
