Ian Watson is quoted on today's BBC sport website saying we still have money to bring in new players. He also said it was his and Tim Sheen's idea not to act like kids in a sweet shop and spend all their pocket money. (Or words to that effect)
It does give us options if the right player becomes available for whatever reason. Most coaches would blow the entire budget just for the sake of it. It's always easy spending other people's money isn't it? Fair play to them I say, if it doesn't fit don't try and make it fit.
I hope our players are more positive about our prospects. Although I do understand your pessimism with our history of bad luck, self-destruction and underachievement. The gauntlet has to be thrown down and the cycle of failure must be broken.
