32990_1435324474.jpg First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_32990.jpg |

| A good centre finds the right running line, takes the ball at pace, attempts to draw in his oppenents and feeds his winger. Or they have the speed to go himself and make a line break. Sadly we haven't got centres with speed and handling skills so they just drive the ball in as hard as they can. This kind of junior school rugby isn't going to help put bums on seats at Barton.

Letting people in for free, is overcharging for what gets served up

I'm surprised we haven't tried to resign Stuart Littler for cover if these tactics are part of the Harris masterplan. Say's it all when we played Cory at Centre v Catalan and it was head and shoulders our best centre performance over the past two years. Would anyone disagree?

I totally agree. Did what a centre needs to do, runs in the ball, draws in the opposition and passes to the winger. Sounds simple, especially with two of the fastest wingers in the league!

I agree with that, thought Oliver Gildart played really well in his brief spell with us. I seen him play for Workington at the Big Bash weekend and was just as impressive.
We've also got Jake Bibby in the academy who is knocking on the door of a first team call-up. Unfortunately due to the change in league structures and the reintroduction of P&R I cant see him getting a chance this season.

| How long did Josh Wood get against Warrington, couldn't have been more that 7-8 minutes. I'd rather see what our academy lads have to offer over than a kid from Wigan because of being at "Wigan"

So you'd rather a half back get a run out than we take a Wigan centre on loan? Love the logic

| I also love your logic. The thread was moving towards our academy players, without check someone mentioned Jake Bibby? I maybe wrong, my point was, I'd rather see the likes of Jake Bibby given the nod ahead of OG we got from Wigan. Also would of like to see Gee and Lannon get more game time than signing Greenwood. Understand now simpleton? Good grief.

| I think we all understand the point you're making,as it's a familiar discussion.
Coaches are in a better position to know when these lads are ready.
I remember Widnes away 2 or 3 years ago when we played a black centre whose name I forget.
He hasn't been seen since. He wasn't ready .
There are loads of examples of this.
Superleague is not the place for good kids, unless they're up to the task . As I say the coaching staff would prefer to play our own kids, but not if its going to destroy their confidence.

| I'm sure the "black" fella your referring to had a few games under Alan Hunte, won't embarass myself with spelling Edwin? I remember him playing at Odsal, possibly Wakefield?

| Prior to Sau signing for Salford, he spent the last few years playing reserve grade. Theres a reason for that.
