| I would venture to suggest that Wilkie going to Oz will be for 1 of 2 reasons-he wants face-to - face talks with people(who he thinks are of equal quality) to see what they would do if appointed.Or he has someone in mind and wants to persuade them.On the other hand ever heard of weblinks?

How could the club have anticipated that McRae would have become ill and not finished his contract? And why would any club have a replacement lined up months before their head coach left. A lot can happen over a season and a better option could have become available. Why commit to a replacement coach months before you have to?

| I'be very unhappy if Goulding or Hanley got the role as the MEN seems to indicate they are interested.
goulding seems to be a bit of a firebrand as he was in his playing days and Hanley seems to be too temperamental and doesn't seem to have the ability to stay in a role for any length of time. Though I do think that Hanley would be perfect for a Simms type role for a club as he has universal respect within the game. And Lowes again who the MEN seems to say would be interested would be a disasterous appointment for Salford.

| Hanley has the ability, but, in no way, should he be considered a suitable long term option.
Please, not Lowes or Goulding. I hope the pair of them have previously blotted proverbial their copy books with the club.
Especially, as Lowes made such a bad job of head coach at warrington.

Correction. Allegedly ill or allegedly deceiving the club, how could they have anticipated McRae putting in a long term sick note?

That's a thoroughly scurrilous accusation - I just hope you never get ill at work and find yourself in need of some support

| Theredshed. You said on the quota spot post that we couldn't pay him off and then bailey retires a few weeks later he's vanished which is a massive coincidence. I know he was leaving but surely it would have been easier to hire someone for next year as they would know if they were becoming available. It's all a bit too slow. I mean if we've had so many applicants why don't we know about them. We have a right. Vievers will be hired can just see it and alley will probably stay and well go nowhere

| Watching Boots n All it sounds to me like Wilky is going down the young Austrailian coach route & following the Huddersfield, Wigan blue print.

Why should you know about who the applicants are at this stage?
How do you know that Phil Vievers will be hired?
And who is alley?
