You have not been in super league for that long, no disrespect but you are not a big club(you have history yes), not great attendences, what big coach do you expect to sign, i think you have not had a bad season but thats from an outsider, it takes time to build a super league team after promotion,at Hull we struggled for years.

I'd like to see us stable and galvanised for next season (with or without a new coach). But at the rate the slagging off is going between supporters/ media/coach: people will be "having their say" and we will be left in a position where with all the bitterness it leaves there just won't be a way back to common sense.

I'm not disagreeing with our fans as I have not been on the terraces this season to witness a lot of the stuff that appears to have upset them, it's just as if simply getting rid of the coach and all the negative media attention associated with that, will be a quick fix (especially at this stage of the season) and everything will be rosy.

If McRae does go (either resignation/ termination etc) I hope that I'm proved wrong and everything is set fair for the future. In the real world though things tend not to be not that simple.

His article is an embarrassment and it will not silence the critics. Up to this point I was happy to sacrifice entertainment for stability, now I wish he would go. Nothing more than a pompous, self-righteous windbag.

When Salford came back into the league the expectation was that you'd be at the bottom because you can't turn an NL1 squad into an SL squad overnight. And guess what, you're near the bottom because you've struggled to get the players in. You've just over 30 % win rate which is probably more than many would have given you. McRae needs another season to prove his worth because he'll be working on bringin through young players too.

some fans think that we should be competing for the grand final. Some very silly people who's expectations are way way to high for this year.

Yeah I can understand a rant and moan now and again after performances like sunday AFTER HT or maybee cas away and quins at home. But most of the fans I know and have spoke to this year actually have there head screwed on and expected a good beating now and again. Only difference is they have come the opposite way around i.e not from leeds or saints but from the likes of cas and quins

To be honest, i dont really enjoy the way we play as i prefer a bit more entertainment. But i think to heap al the blame on McRae is daft.

Lets be fair we dont know what he said at half time but im sure it wasnt "right lads we have this won so put your cue on the rack" or "I want you to be bloody awful in this half and make Warrington look world beaters, oh and by the way i wont be happy unless you conceed 50 points."

He didnt miss all those tackles etc and whilst some blame rightly is his, lets not forget the players.

McRae is in a difficult position as well, we dont spend the salary cap and are treading water until the new ground "exists". McRae isnt responsible for comments that come from other areas of the club that have built up expectations and given the media chance to make hay.

As to personal comments about him, thats not on, i dont recall Offiah having to content with such comments recently.
