I'd guess that he's been meeting with Smith in Dubai and when he's back there will be a big announcement.
Think they might wait unt after the Hull game as its a hiding to nothing, use the CC away game as a training exercise and then its the Docs but brand/club relaunch agaibst Cas and hopefully a big crowd and winnable game.

I've gone beyond trying to guess now. All this hanging around is breeding a bit of negativity around the Club from fans and impatient journos who want something new to write about. With an absence of news they seem to be sliding down the negative vibe route as they become frustrated too. See Barkers double effort today as an example. One article suggesting Fages wont get a shout with a new coach along with Longy going (Although this is a fair article imo and highlights something that I thought about myself) The other article rolls out mcRae with his usual brand of subdued praise followed by reeling it in in favour of a nice dose of negativity.

Just wish that the Club would get on with it.

If you are the Leigh follower I think you are shouldn't you be 'bigging up' Ian Millward.You know,the latest good Englist Prop,Chris Hill,nurtured at Leigh by IM.How he gives youth a chance.How his BBC punditry will keep Salford in the news with the television watchers.How is silverware record is as good as Nobles.How he has experience in the NRL and Noble doesn't.His signings from overseas.

I think whilst as frustrating as it is, the doc has stuck to his words here. Firstly he stated Alan Hunte would be given a fair crack of the whip - and he's had 6 games in charge W1 D1 L4 (albeit without his own signings) so far. Secondly, all along he stated he wants the right man for the job as its a massive decision - it has become apparent that he is weighing up all options - which makes me think it might not be Nobel after all

Why does he have to rush the decision when no major signings can be made at this stage of the season. As long as everything is in place before the end of this seaon then we can start to plan for the future and actually have a proper structured pre - season .

He is a winner be that horses or rugby league it looks like he wants to be able to compete at very least so I can see a gradual build though out the season then in the off season hopefully we will have put in structures to get most out of our players and newer ones we get in the future
