| Well said fax-boys - the spirit in the camp is superb considering what has gone on this year.
NKOTT - Spoke to Rangi and he said he hopes to be back next week.
On a personal note though I wouldnt mind not seeing Cory again unless he ups his interest in the club.
Dunno about Johnson.

| I thought to day we were lucky to win.
We seem at times to be clueless about everything, our attack at times was poor, standing flat is no good, we need to be standing back at least another 10 to 15 yrds and running on to the ball at speed, taking the ball then trying to get up speed is no good.
In defence we seem to confuse ourselves, we have players running around with there heads up there bums, doing at lot of shouting at not a lot of work, Im not going to name any names but our defence from some players has to improve.
We need HH to be shouting , barking out orders giving b££lings to players who need it, but for me to many players shouting at other players, and nobody listening, so the same mistakes happen time and time again.
HH has to be more vocal. He is in charge on the pitch so players must listen to him.
On that subject the coach who ever he maybe must send his instructions , through who ever, to HH, who then must tell the rest of the team of the changes the coach wants to make in the game. If HH does not agree with those changes at the time he must make that decision at the time then tell the coach why he did or did not do the changes he was told or not, but on field decisions must be HH call .
More than most we need team harmony which at times does seem to be lacking ,
But well done for today it was a win, but we need to win every game we have left to even think of being in the top 8, but it was a start, well done .

| If you want a vocal captain then HH is not your man.
I'm not criticising him at all,he is what he is-a wholehearted tough forward.
During the game D Griffin was louder and more demonstrative, when he was on .

| I agree with you Bonita about HH.
Club captain yes, but on field captain no, for me that would be Paterson, but that is a subject for another day.

| Thought today proved that the crowd figures could be improved, 5000+ with very little Les Catalans following is good.
Not once did I see anyone asking for peoples details outside/inside the ground, there could have been a hell of a lot of new faces but they will have slipped through the net. We walked in near a few people who were very obviously not RL fans so the concept worked, just hope that the whole thing tempted them.
Brought my Mrs kids for the first time and they loved it, went to the shop and on a day when it was cracking the flags pre game the only the hats were wooly ones.
Honestly in 3 weeks when the new pub is open the whole pre game experience will be so much better.

| Really pleased with the efforts of the players yesterday, after conceding two very soft tries early on the heads never dropped and they kept plugging away. Our defence wasn’t great for their two but after that I thought we tightened up and to keep them scoreless in the second 40 was impressive.
Despite us missing Rangi, Paterson, Morley, Tasi, Lee, Forster and Johnson and having just 18 fit players to select from we can be more than happy with those 2 points.
I thought Junior had his best game for a long time, Krasniqi impressive on debut, Hood livened us up around the ruck, HH was strong throughout but Scott Taylor was outstanding again. Looking at his physical condition, you wouldn’t think he had 80 minutes in him but what an effort that was, desperately disappointed we’re losing him.
For me it’s all about finishing above Widnes and if possible Hull KR now.

| Here is the Depressing (for them) Catalan Report (translated via Google ! ) from France
Headline was
Catalans dans le mur (You can surely translate that!)
The rest per Google :-
Nineteen years after the birth of the famous manga 'Dragon Ball Z' , the Japanese Fuji TV channel aired yesterday the much anticipated return of the series event with 'Dragon Ball Super'. Unfortunately , the Catalans Dragons do not get inspired. Yet it was the game not to lose against a team that was left out of nine defeats in their last ten appointments. Salford had not won at home since April 6 . But the Dragons were again dropped in England, unable to complete their launches game. So, it is the participation at the Super 8 which falls dotted (two points clear of Hull KR , ninth ) . That would be a disaster for the club should then play its maintenance with sidekick .
But this team can only blame itself. On Sunday, she again caught despite offerings made by local as clumsy. "We left the game plan instead of what was asked," railed Greg Mounis after the debates. The co-captain does not explain how his training was lost offensively after early interesting match.
Immediately, Casty in good captain, leads the way through the line. A light played fast and prop open the brand. The Dracs dominated yesterday they began. Nothing to do with that which was theirs ten days earlier in Hull. But it was indeed a straw fire, before the fire does ignite then in their own camp.
Efficacy has been fitting that the space of the first quarter hour. Until Louis Anderson, the devourer of space, does not benefit from a launch game initiated by Casty and Robin for double the lead (12-0). And then nothing, not the slightest test during the following 63 minutes.
"Too many balls were made at the first light, when we were at home and in scoring position," Munis analyzed.
The blood and gold handed over their opponents in the direction. A first loose ball allows Evalds to point at the foot of the posts. Then another drop from Gigot before his in-goal equalizer offers in Dobson. While Dracs are content to take the points thanks to foot Dureau giving two points ahead before the break (14-12).
In the second half both sides, each multiplied handling errors when these are not blunders that spoil the party. The Catalans even receive three consecutive referrals under the posts Devils Reds, but every time it's the same story, the ball escapes from the hands. Certainly, the playing conditions were made difficult by the rain, but at this level it's unforgivable. And what would happen, happened seven minutes from time with Dobson crucifying the Dragons. Words have failed to stem a performance that only Todd Carney may be able to recover now. As a last hope.
