| £45 I believe but including a 1 course meal - unsure that would be soup or cheese though.

| They have been pushing the exec side for the game.
But tbh £45.00 + vat (£54.00) for a 1 course meal is pretty bad tbh.
We normally sit in the vip bar and tickets for this will be £30.00 for pretty much the same seat.
I agree with people on here tbh, think £10.00 for normal tickets would be a great deal to get bums and seats and would be a good turn out.
Think a win on good friday will see another 1000 on the attendence tbh.

| You're getting a discount for a first-class competition. Belting.

I agree. We hear complaints all the time about too many meaningless games in Superleague, and as soon as absolutely meaningful games in the shape of knock-out ones arrive in the cup or play-offs, crowds drop off and people say they want cheaper tickets.

| Didn't you get the first home game in the club as part of your season ticket at one point?
Season ticket holders should get 25/50% discount on tickets bought to encourage bumper crowd, the club can't budget cup money at the start of the season so any takings are over and above what is planned for.

The same argument applies to costs!

| The Challenge Cup is regarded as the premier cup competition and certainly one of the oldest in sport, to start reducing ticket prices devalues it in my opinions.
I wonder how many stay away fans during the knockout rounds would be clambering for a ticket for the final, which I have to say are excellent value when compared to the FA cup.
The true fan will watch all the games and so long as the price is no more than normal I don't blame Salford for not discounting, which bear in mind they have to get the permission from there opponents to do so.
Good luck against Widnes.

| Looking like another home cup game where we will be heavily outnumbered by the away fans.
Disappointing.

| Rugby League fans mentality towards the Challenge cup winds me right up. £18 to watch an all super league cup game is well worth it, if it was a first round tie against Oxford then by all means lower the price, but it’s a huge game and why fans don’t want to pay to watch it baffles me. The season ticket is more than good value for money in the first place, it’s only right that we have to pay for meaningful cup games after all the club need to see some sort of return, they can’t just let everyone in for free! Even if they did lower the price to say £12 I still think it would be more or less the same people turning up therefore the club would lose out, it’s yet another case of people finding excuses not to attend.
The same applies to the end of season play offs, crowds are usually lower than during the season because fans have to pay, It’s pathetic!
Get there and support your team in the greatest ever sporting competition in the world!!!!!

| Whingers and whiners do my head in. Moaned for years the club isn't run on a proper business footing, now it is they are moaning again because we are not reducing prices. Simple choice really, if you are a real fan you will be there, if you don't want to pay £18 don't go, and work out for yourselves where you stand as a Salford fan. The cost of a ticket for sudden death entertainment is excellent value for money.

| Not having a moan or a whine about my personal situation as the adult prices are spot on.. not sure the vip offer is any good unless the one course meal is going to be superior quality to the fodder that is normally served up but hey ho, it's a one off so gotta be done..
My only criticism is on the lack of a family promotion (doesn't affect me!!!!)
An adult with one kid is affordable to most, but what about the ones with more kids, that's the only area I would have hoped the club might have done a promo.. not saying free, but an attractive promo
It's only my thinking to have more kids at as many games as possible so don't shoot me... afterall, they will become the "true" fans of the future
