Just saw John Cartwright in the shop buying car sticker so I think it must be him.
He had Johnathan Thurston sat in the passenger seat of his car with the engine running so he didn't get a ticket so he might be bring him with him too

| I do know if it came down to Flanagan or Harris then it's a no brainer to go for Flanagan, quality coach in the NRL, though you'd think that him and Noble working together would be difficult as both clearly head coaches.

Wow! I never knew they did that. I suppose that explains why Nobby always seems to be chewing during a match.

| It sounds like it’s going to happen.
Whilst I agree something needs to change, I’m not sure allowing Noble to bring in another (Stuart Donlan and Andy Hay) assistant is the best route to take. Isn’t Noble in the last year of his contract? I would therefore assume we’re due to a new head coach for 2015 who will want his own assistant.
As far as Harris goes though, great player and has worked alongside an excellent coach in Shaun Wane at Wigan. If he can bring some of what Wigan were doing last season to Salford then I’ll be more than happy.

| Flanagan is the better choice and Cronulla know he is a good coach thats why they want to try and keep him, harris is just a money chaser he will always will be an assistant coach.

| Why should Noble be appointed football director if we appoint Harris? He’s been here almost 12 months now and we’ve only won 6 games, 5 actually if you count the Castleford game where we were found guilty of being totally amateurish for fielding 14 players. Why reward somebody for failure?
Despite Noble spending a small fortune on many high profile new players, an army of coaching staff, , better training facilities and an extravagant 3 week trip to South Africa we lost miserably by 30-8 at Hull, despite only losing by 5 points at the KC last year with an inferior team. Where is the progress for this huge investment?
If there isn’t a massive improvement over the next 3 games, starting with a win this Thursday, I don’t think he could have any complaints whatsoever if Koukash showed him the exit door. If the alarm bells aren't ringing loudly in Noble's ears, they certainly should be.

A good post and I suppose Bonita Red was expecting me to write a similar few paragraphs. I echo every word here but for me its the totally boring constant driving and up and unders which seem Nobbys only tactic.
Please Nobby - change the plan - you have some good players here who are CAPABLE - start some expansive Rugby League please with the line being much deeper, dummy runners, criss coss, pi$$ offs, face balls, chip overs, run arounds etc. Bring some entertainment to us - we all deserve it.

I alluded to this on Friday before the game, heading to the gym last week I spotted Long working with the halves and backs trying all manner of chips & cross field kicks, Williams looked like he couldn't catch a cold when this was going on but the rest all did much better. Stuart Donlan was stood to the side watching all this and seemed to take no part in what was going on.
If you go on the club site and look under the coaches section you'll find 11 people listed, throw in one more and for me that is definately a case of too many cooks.

It's a very broad definition of coaching staff though, because it includes the club captain and the programme editor. By comparison, Wigan have a coaching staff of 20, and that doesn't include the club captain and programme editor.
