Hopefully they are just waiting until the stadium is complete enough to guarantee you start the season there , just drove past this morning , a hell of a lot of work needed yet
I'd suggest that a big push would be needed in mid November , just as the Trafford Centre gears up for Xmas , but one thing is for certain , if you don't market it to death , " They will not come " 
You only get one chance at this , once the boat has gone , it's gone |

I wouldn't worry about that mate, if we got to Old Trafford (or Wembley for that matter) we'd sell our allocation. Now the only problem is, the team getting us to the said finals  Apart from that I agree with everything else you've typed. |

I'm waiting more and more impatiently for them to call regaurding renewing my season ticket, I took a new fan to the final game and he wants a season ticket but is bewildered that he can't find anything out about it on the website.
It's appauling that were in the most important off season of our lives and we are having the same old conversations regaurding ticketing.
I call on whoever is responsible for this at the club to resign as they are patently failing to do thier job properlly.

But if you've time to sit and type on here, why not call the club shop, or just go in and get your season ticket - I did on Saturday, it was quite painless, a big chart with the layout marked on, very helpful lady in the shop - picked my seat, paid for it - where's the problem?????? |

Yep Brian, Harry is my neighbour. A couple of lads who i go with have had some info but i have not heard a dicki bird. The problem like for many others is that Christmas is round the corner if you have kids then the money would probably be invested in them. |

But that is NOT a problem for anyone wanting to buy a season ticket - they are on open sale, they are easy to get hold of
Whilst I completely agree the marketing is less than stunning, just because the club haven't called you, that is not in any way stopping you buying a ticket - it seems to me that some folk just prefer to whinge rather than just getting on with their lives - I wanted a ticket, I went and bought one - where's the issue?? |

The problem is that the club should be looking for my business not just thinking he'll come again next year, as someone else says someone is paid to do things like this and it's shocking that it isn't being done.

If you listened to John Wilkinson in his recent interview he said he no longer reads anything on on-line forums because it's all so negative, I can't say I blame him.
I repeat - if you want a season ticket go and get one - it isn't difficult!!

I've agreed that the marketing at the club is pretty poor (non-existent??), but the point I'm making is that the quality of the marketing has no bearing at all on the ability of any existing Salford fan to get a season ticket, which is what the OP was implying |

Its not about moaning, i'll be getting a ticket regardless, as am sure most others commenting on here will be. The problem is the marginal fans wont if its not made easier. They shouldnt need to go out of their way, infact it should be shoved down their throat so its easier to just buy the ticket than not. I know we havent got much money, but this is THE most important part of this season, getting bums on seats early, and keeping them there. Surely the benefit will outweigh the cost, but times running out quickly |

the silence from the club is deafening,thats what concerns me,when we all should be buzzing waiting for the season to start all we get is the fans bickering amongst ourselves,a new business advertises it self to the hilt,emails,flyers,radio etc etc.why are we not,is there something going on,it makes you think is it worth it if the club cannot be bothered selling tickets,why should i buy one.common salford let the fans know what the hell you have got planned.

OK then, if the club WONT tell us and you HAVE bought one, how much are they then? and why would i want to go down to the club when i can pay over the phone (if they ring). As M.R said, they should be chasing us for business. yes we will be getting one. Again the club needs to change its attitude how it runs its business, every day people are losing their jobs ( and i could be soon  ). People are going to be very careful now with thier money and the club need to be tempting people to part with what little money is spare. |
