| The day I cried with emotion at a rugby match, I still have the full page from the Evening news which proclaims,"Super Salford into history" framed on the stairwall. I touch it every night on my way to my dreams thinking if only....

| Still get goosebumps every time i watch this again. it was superb. Speaking to Scott Martin the other week and he said that he doesnt remember the night after the game due to all the drinks he had been bought. Here is hoping to it happening again Soon.

I'm pretty sure that Scott Martin also had a try disallowed - winning the race to a Blakeley kick over about 40 yards but being given offside. He was less offside than McGuire on Sunday.

| One of the best occasions at the Willows in my lifetime.I still remember Steve Hampson standing shouting at the Wigan coaches at the end of the game. Note how the ref takes out connolly for Naylor's first try. The day was crowned for me when i went into the local newsagent who had a stack of Wigan posters he had just bought and was almost in tears at the prospect that they would never sell!
Great Days

| Wouldn't it be great if we could have 'that' team down at the Willows one evening soon. Perhaps at half-time against Wigan. Would be cracking. For even if we were to get smashed by Wigan from here until eternity, we know and they know that there were 15 (I think) men in red, mere minnows who stood up against the might of the wonderful Wigan and duly burst the unburstable bubble of domination... Oh yes!

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book :Others/NA.JPG |

the FULL timers of Wigan, if we move a little further along, Wigan ended up £4m in the red and had to sell Central Park, all because a small team like Salford Knocked them off their Perch.

Oh you guys...
Jokes aside, I'll post this idea on the clubs facebook page and see what happens. We might need to help them with contact details of some of the players...

| A re-union is being planned at the Wigan game for all the players who played in the Steve Gibson era, as "Gibbo" is getting married & returning to Aus for good in July, & as a lot of those players were wiganers it seems like an appropriate game. Hoping to get something on in the club post game ie, getting them all on the stage, maybe some of his highlights on screen etc & a chance for the fans to show their thanks to him & wish him all the best.

I'm not sure what 'blue waffle' is but if you include 2 girls 1 cup in your post and don't warn people about googling that, then whatever blue waffle is, it must be bad
