Oh yeah they are still spelling Wilshere as 'Wilshire' on the scoreboard.

I'd echo the annoyance of playing the Viking tune during play - it's both irritating and embarrassing. I even found myself involuntarily saying "oh f*ck off" in my own living room earlier when I watched the replay.

It's the same complaints every season (week even). They don't care and it isn't going to change.

I'd be interested to know what the sheepish looking lad stood at the back of The Shed with the microphone was doing?

Totally agree about this point. I was totally infuriated with the music immediatley after the game finished. What moron decided that this was appropriate when the shed wanted to show their appreciation for the team. If this is going to happen after every game then everyone will leave on the final whistle and the team will troop of the pitch to an empty stand. Sort it out!!

Different topic (sorry) But I did think the floodlights were brighter last night and it does seem that somE bulbs have been bought! With seemingly all the lights working

I just hope we don't have any power cuts that have seemed to occur these last few seasons. (Gateshead and Widnes games spring to mind)

I thought they'd made improvements to the tannoy! theyve just made it louder, blaring out roll with it when the players are coming off doesnt help

You have to admit though, playing 'Johnny B Goode' when Wilshere kicks is an inspired choice.....lol

The Viking song is extremely embarrassing when the match is being played! It's as if somebody has hit the wrong button by mistake, or pressed it accidently. it's so amateur it makes me cringe!
There will probably be times this year when we will get humilated on the pitch, so lets not make it even worse for us by playing that tune at various times during a game!

On a positive note it's great to see the faulty bulbs have been replaced in the scoreboard!

1. Viking tune during game - pathetic. Stop it now. There is no excuse and it will make us look a laughing stock. Dreadful idea.

2. Playing songs immediately after game - pathetic. Stop it now. We've just seen our team win our first game back in Super League, we want to to show our appreciation and sing songs.

3. Announcing sponsors THROUGHOUT the game - pathetic. Stop it now. Can understand perhaps once during a long break in play, but to get them in when possible is daft.

Apart from that, the music choice was much better, Paul Mc did a great job on the PA and the pre match entertainment was good.

i loved the "jonnie be good" for john Whilshere felt like i was in a T.Mobile advert all together now......
