This weeks NWC fixturesDERBY - Eccles and Salford v Cadishead
Div 5 - Wigan Bulldogs v Bury (a 30 all draw last time these two met)
Div 6 - Folly A v Latchford A
It's the first weekend of lancs cup (a prelim round of just 4 fixtures) which means some sides are not playing - seems to have impacted on salford clubs to a greater extent than anyone else!

Good weekend for the local clubs. Cadishead look strong defensively and took a point off Leigh Central who had won their opening three games.

| Crosfields A 24 Folly A 14
Very physical game, Crosfields had the best of the first 10 minutes opening up and 8-0 lead after only 3 minutes  but after finally waking up it was 14-4 at halftime.
Second half things got more than a bit tasty with a 26 man brawl breaking out with one of ours getting sin binned. after managing to pull the game level at 14-14, whilst down to 12 men, Crosfields ended the game just as they started it by scoring another 2 tries in the last 7 minutes. A poor start and poor end to the game resulting in our first loss of the season  |
