Absolutely, and this is what the club should be working towards. Second best would be lad from anywhere wanting to play for Salford while still at the peak of his career. Worst option is signing a player who is waaayy past his best purely because he's from Salford.
Karl Harrison accused the club of being a retirement home, and he was right. Do we really want to go back down that route? |

Off the top of my head Watkins and Hansen are the only other 2 Salford lads that are of a good SL standard. Unfortunately I doubt they'll be in a rush to leave Leeds and Wigan to join us anytime soon! |

It's not mate it's Stretford I know both him and his brother Cashley. Kallum played for Salford Juniors, Folly Lane and Latchford in Warrington before being singed on at Leeds. |

Agreed I read the League Express about three weeks ago now and if true he said I have never had a desire to play for Salford, until then I always wanted him at Salford after this point (if true) I couldn't give a rats ass about him. |

Given the perilous state of your club both on and off the pitch since Morley's return from Auatralia, why would he want to play for Salford?
It would have only been for sentimental reasons and that cuts both ways. Judging by some of the posters on here, wasn't there a "bullet dodged" post when the news of his torn bicep was announced earlier this season, I think he made the right choice going to and staying with Wire.
Maybe a peripheral role for you guys next year for one year only with some community work and getting his coaching badges. |
